Danielle Artis
received her Bachelor of Arts in dance from the University of North Texas. Since the age of 5, she has learned many styles of dance, including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and hip hop. For the last year, Danielle has been dancing and performing with FrenetiCore Dance. Along with dancing she trains and performs as an aerialist with Cirque La Vie. She is also a certified Pure Barre teacher and is always looking to enhance her passion for physical expression.Photo by Les Campbell




Brenda Baez
graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in dance education from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She has studied various dance forms such as ballroom, ballet, jazz, folk, modern, creative, and precision/drill. She is the dance sponsor at Pearland Junior High West where she works as a full-time classroom teacher. She has received professional dance training in various dance techniques including those of Paul Taylor, Merce Cunningham, Nikolais-Louis, Graham, Humphrey, Denishawn, Lubovitch, and Balanchine. Adam Castaneda studied dance at Houston Community College where he performed with the school's African Dance and Drum Ensemble for three-and-a-half years. Dorianne Castillo has had the pleasure to be a company member of FrenetiCore Dance for the last two years. She is an alumnus of Escuela de Bellas Artes in Ponce, PR and Andanza School of Dance in San Juan, PR where she received her dance training. Rebecca French, Artistic Director of FrenetiCore, has been dancing and choreographing since 1995, when she began her ballet and modern dance studies at the University of Houston. Rebecca's approach to choreography is based on her study of theater and numerous dance disciplines--including modern dance, ballet, jazz, folk (African, Middle Eastern), ballroom, tap, hip-hop, and gymnastics. Photo by Lynn Lane






Michelle Mayo began her training at Spring Academy of Dance and attended the Kirov Ballet summer intensive. Michelle was a Kilgore College Rangerette and her performances include a 7-day Royal Caribbean cruise and President Obama's Black Tie & Boots Inaugural Ball in Washington D.C. Michelle then graduated from UH with a B.A. in Political Science and minor in dance. For the past five summers, she has attended the Radio City Rockette Invitational Week in NYC. Currently, Michelle dances professionally in the Houston area and teaches at a local studio. She made her musical debut playing the role of Liz with Bayou City Theatrics' production of Chicago and is a company member with Cirque la Vie and FrenetiCore. Photo by Les Campbell







Mollie Miller holds a Bachelors of Science in Dance from Texas State University, where she studied Hawkins Technique. She serves as Managing Director at FrenetiCore as well as the Houston Fringe Festival and also works as Programs Associate for Dance Source Houston. Photo by Les Campbell

Carlos Guzman began his training at the age of 14 during his freshman year of high school. He began dancing at the age of 16 at North Harris Performing Arts, where he trained under  Amy Cain, Dawn Dipple, Matt Dipple, and Jennifer Stricklin. Carlos remained at North Harris for 4 years and trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, Modern, tap, and hip-hop. He also took classes from artists such as Wes Veldink and Dawn Scannel, former Head Mistress of Houston Ballet. He has also trained in LA at the EDGE with various well-known artists. Holly Moran was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa and has spent the last 16 years residing in Arizona. She received her BFA from the University of Arizona where she majored in Dance Performance. After college, she spent a year dancing on The Majesty of the Seas for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.  Upon returning to dry land, Holly was a featured soloist for 6 years with Center Dance Ensemble, a Graham-based Modern dance company in Phoenix. Now playing the role of 'Mommy' to her two young children, Holly has added outreach programs, choreography, direction, and dance instructor to her bag of tricks.  Holly is thrilled to continue pursuing her passion for dance with FrenetiCore.
